Responsible for the newsletter, membership database and web site.

External Relations:

Chair: Phil Taylor; Members: Ian Forster, Ric McGee

Responsible for Government and community relations - such as information on property taxes, garbage pick up, property standards.

Lake Stewardship:

Chair: Sue Teasdale; Members: Tom Coyle, Phil Taylor

Responsible for Lake Markers and stewardship - such as information on water quality and levels; wetlands management, fishery, and species protection.

Activities:

Chair: Alf Peneycad; Members:  Tom Coyle

Responsible for Annual Fishing Derby, other aquatic and social activities including the Road Monitor Reception.

Nominations:

Responsible for securing replacement members for board of directors when their terms of office are up.

Shadow Lakes Sailing Club (SLSC):

Folded in 2008.
 

High-Water Alert Program:

Chair: Dave Warren 

Responsible for collecting emails of interested paid up members and notifying them of any high-water situations (usually occur in the spring).

The Shadow Lakes Association is an active member of the Federation of Ontario Cottagers' Associations. A representative from the Board usually attends the Annual Meeting in Toronto in November.
