The Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, July 2, at the Coboconk branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. Coffee at 8:30, meeting starts at 9:00 AM. Please bring a food item(s) donation for the Coby Food Bank.


 The 19th Annual Mo Park Rock Bass and Sunfish Children's Fishing Derby will be held Saturday, July 16  (6AM to Noon) Rain date July 17. NEW RULES REGARDING YOUR CATCH. Saturday April 4th Annual Pitch-In Norland. Meet at the old school parking lot for gloves, and bags, refreshments served. Bags provided by Pitch-In Canada. Call Jen Eason for details. ?
Saturday April A fundraiser Yard Sale, Tea, Book Sale and Craft Show is being held from 9 am to 2 pm. Lunch of sandwiches, pie and refreshments is 11 am to 2 pm. Contact Grace at 705-454-3404 for details. Norland Volunteer Management Board
Saturday April Ridgewood School bottle drive - 10 am. Drop off any refundable bottles you want to donate/get rid of at either Ridgewood School parking lot or Norland Old School parking lot. Monies to raise funds for new playground equipment. Ridgewood School

Saturday June 18 The Second Annual Fresh Water Summit Celebration. Did you know that from Coboconk on Balsam Lake, the highest point on the TSW, you can navigate to a number of oceans. This and more will be celebrated at the Coby Public Dock starting at 10 am. The whole community will be involved, along with appearances by dignitaries and celebrities, and 91.9 BOB FM. Saturday July 23 "Honouring The Past", displays of CoKL areas past, at the Lindsay Armoury and grounds. Admission free. Come and see some of the history of the areas past. 10am - 4pm. Victoria County Historical Society

Sunday July 31 Duck Derby weekend in partnership with the United
Way. Lions will be selling barbecued hot dogs and hamburgers starting at 11:00 am. Duck Derby 2:00 pm Sunday at the bridge in Coby. Tickets at various locations $5 each or 3 for $10. For more info contact Glenn at 454-1007.

All meetings for the Horticultural Society are held at the Knox United Church on Water Street starting @ 7:30 PM last Monday of each month.

Used Battery Drive. Every Saturday from 9 am to noon you can drop off your used small button, A, AA, AAA, B, C, D used/dead batteries at the Norland Public Library for proper disposal. DO NOT THROW YOUR USED BATTERIES IN THE GARBAGE!!! Norland Public Library
